Just met Rece Davis at the airport here in Jax

I have to admit, he could not have been nicer.
We talked Kiffin, daughters and weddings. I was back home for the weekend for a party for my daughter and her fiancé. He told me his daughter was married last fall and said congrats to mine.
I had started the conversation off telling him that the Tigers are coming for his Tide now.
He did agree that Kiffin should win big in Baton Rouge.
Not the first time I’ve met a celebrity who I wasn’t a big fan of and came away feeling like they were actually pretty nice.

He probably is a nice guy in a casual setting. However, he still goes out of his way to disparage LSU any chance he gets.

I’m sure he’s a nice guy in person. Sucks as a commentator, however. He just got too much Bama in him.
