Poor Ole Miss, they couldn't beat us in OT, they couldn't beat Vandy in OT. They truly play to the level of their competition

That's not fair.

The argument is more like "we'd be in 9th or 10th place"...which in an of itself shows just how low McMahon has lowered the bar for "success".

What a McShocking turn of events. I was told on this very forum that this was our best team under this coaching staff, the school had ponied up the big bucks for NIL and this season was going to end up very differently than the past 3 years.....

Steven Pearl who has never been a HC before has more SEC wins in his first season than McMahon does the last two seasons combined.

Did you not know the value of NIL fluctuates like a stock depending upon how the season goes?

Last season NO ONE said anything about a lack of NIL funding (which, if true, would have been the case MONTHS before the season started since those commitments are used to sign the roster)...until LSU was 2-10 in SEC play to say "it's really not Matt's fault. He has no money." NEXT year he will have money!

At the beginning of the season, for the 3 straight season, this was anointed his "best" roster because the money was spent! In about 7-10 days you are going to start hearing, again, about how LSU spent no money. It's the refrain of the constant excuse makers who are trying to find any reason for the awful 4 years results...except the obvious reason.

The McMahon loyalty is confusing. He doesn’t have Louisiana ties so there is no local loyalty. He’s shown zero personality. The team really hasn’t been close at all in four years. The only explanation can be dork message board contrarians.

Bingo.

It has NOTHING to do with McMahon, and everything to do with contrarians hating LSU fans who still like and wish Wade was the HC. There is no other logical reason to unwaveringly support a coach who has been, objectively, the worst coach in the program's history while simultaneously doing everything possible to try to discredit the coach who won at a more consistent level than any coach in 30+ years

It's akin to the Donald Trump line to his supporters: "Democrats (who he was friends with for decades before he became president) don't hate me. They hate YOU!". The contrarians didn't hate Wade when he was at LSU. They just hate the LSU fans that still love him.

If our booster base is donating based off of the results the program shouldn't receive a single dollar. There can't be much perceived value in this area for them and it appears that we are truly fricked moving forward.

The opportunities for the McMen to make another chest thumping triumphant return to post these untruths are becoming very few this season. In fact, besides the dedicated and simple minded tigersbb, I doubt any of that crew makes an appearance for the remainder of the season.

As for me, a once proud season ticket holder who as a student used to camp out on the ramps of the PMAC to secure tickets, I have thoroughly tuned out the program from my modicum of concern. Sadly the apathy surrounding the program has taken root and I refuse to allow it to drag me down to the depths that this thing has now sunk. Until a coaching change is made, my resolve will remain as hard as a whore's heart.

Bring back tGeneral!

SC is terrible also, but they probably have about a 40% chance of winning at Ole Miss. LSU has only an infinitesimal chance of winning at home vs Aggy, based on results so far this season. Tigers gave it their best shot in College Station on Jan. 3 and fell short. This Saturday night looks like a blowout a la Arkansas Hogs.
