This has probably been discussed a million times, so I apologize. I just moved to New Orleans and I'm wondering what the consensus answer is for best pizza in NOLA.

I’m partial to St Pizza but those two are clearly the best

I haven't tried Il Supremo in Metairie, but these two are Tier One.

Tier Two: Pizza Delicious, Zee's and NOLA Pizza

Welcome to New Orleans!

Uptown: Zee's
Metairie: Il Supremo
Downtown/ close enough to still call it downtown: St Pizza, Forbidden

Pizza Delicious is great too, but its down in the Marigny (or bywater... idk the difference).

In order best for me are:

Il supremo>Zee's> Pizza D> Forbidden> St Pizza.

They are all very good, enjoy!

Plan to hit up St. Pizza Saturday between some soccer games. It'll be the first time trying it. Loved Forbidden though. Tower was good but not on the level of Forbidden.

General rule of thumb is if there is something to do then you are in the Marigny if it looks like an "artist" threw up on the house it's Bywater.

Really if you are closer to the Quarter its Marigny and the cut off is railroad tracks by Press St where Bywater starts.

I'd add in NOLA and Nola Mia. They usually don't get the same hype as the others on that list though. Haven't tried MidCity in a long time but they used to have one of the best pizzas out there.

I would have to say Forbidden, but eat it there.

St. Pizza is good, but the price is wild and I feel like it's missing just a little something.

St Pizza pizza is really good. The vibe there is just strange and it feels like you should be grateful they let you in the place.

Forbidden on the other hand hits it out the park and feels like nice place to grab a slice.

I appreciate the tip! Really only make it down that way for Pizza D, N7, and Bacchanal. My wife drags me down there for Mardi Gras Day every year, but when the sun starts going down I start leaving.

This is strange

St.Pizza actually feels like a combo of an old school tavern and upscale. I love the place.

Forbidden feels a bit more antiseptic to me

I would add Nighthawk Napolentana to the list. Not a big dog in NO but very good pizza. In Algiers Point.

This is how I feel as well. Love the inside of St. Pizza or the option to order from the window and eat at Patron Saint. I don't like the bar/sitting area of Forbidden. It feels sterile with no character
