A Thomas Sowell essay I think this board needs to read: “Are the Jews Generic?”

This was written years ago, but it is relevant today more than ever.
Dr. Sowell seeks to answer the age old question: “Are the Jews a uniquely dominant minority without global parallel, which we should all be skeptical of?”
His answer is No.

In reality, there are *many* minority groups all over the globe at one point or another who, despite being 1-2% of the population and often persecuted, economically dominated. Some groups examined in Dr. Sowell’s historical examination:
1) Armenians in the Ottoman Empire
2) Ibos in Nigeria
3) Marwaris in Burma
4) Chinese in Southeast Asia
5) Lebanese in west Africa
6) Indians in Uganda

Jewish people aren't 1-2% worldwide, they are less than 0.2%

The words unique/without global parallel is doing a lot of lifting in that question.
Do potential threats have to be without global parallel for them to be addressed/taken seriously?
I'm not even saying that the Jews are a threat, but the framing of this whole conversation feels irrelevant. So what other groups have help massively disproportionate power in different regions and in different time periods. We're in this region and in this time period.

Using our military to achieve their goals is just common sense.
Besides, we don’t do ethno states in Western Civilization anymore. After this war hopefully Israel will be forced to open up their borders and embrace full blown permanent immigration from non-Jews all over the globe whom are simply seeking a “better life”.
