Stopped two people trying to move up the aisle on an airplane yesterday

They hopped up when the plane landed and ran up like 10 spots until I put my arm out and stopped them, told them they weren’t going to skip my family. Funny enough, they acted super polite and pretended like they didn’t know what they were doing… I told them they really should back up and let all the people they skipped off first, but they didn’t do that, they did stop and did not try to go past me though.
Seriously what is wrong with people who do this? Such a classless thing to do.

Had a black lady do this on my recent flight with a look of attitude on her face. Nobody was brave enough to disrespeck her tho.

No we were getting off an international flight so I’m guessing they were trying to rush ahead and beat everyone to customs, I’m sure if they were trying to make a connection they would have said so

I stay seated until a row or two in front of me starts moving even if I'm pressed for time.
And yeah, it's generally inconsiderate to run up the aisle to beat the crowd, but I'm not sure that it's actually prohibited. I've never seen the flight crew lecture or stop anyone so you were likely in the wrong to physically stop them. You pay for your seat, not the space in the aisle next to it.

??? Ready before me? The plane lands and has to taxi to the gate, there is absolutely nowhere to go. Ready before me to do what? Stand in the aisle and wait? Everyone is going to the same place, tell me you aren’t one of these awful people that skips everyone when the plane lands.
