We have to do something about the old Folks in premium seats bringing down the vibe. This was a big problem during Wade’s Tenure..
When I went to games they would constantly get on to more “rowdy fans” about standing or being “obnoxious”… and when I’d watch on TV the lower bowl would look dead.
TAF has to move them or something. That would truly get the PMAC rocking

People bitched about the fans even when he was here. I'm an out of towner but I remember it looking bad on TV 4 years ago, I can only imagine it's gotten worse

No cap. During tPear’s outright SEC championship season, I was at a bar in New York that had LSU playing at home on one tv and Michigan State playing at home on the tv right next to it; the difference in atmosphere was night and day. The Breslin Center was electric, with the student section front and center jumping and making noise the entire game. The PMAC looked like a literal morgue. Corpses that looked like they could croak any second were front and center, sitting down the entire game. You can say “blah blah blah basketball school”, but there’s no reason LSU can’t have an elite basketball atmosphere. Let’s make the PMAC great again!

Gut the upper section, replace with some luxury seating for the blue hairs and corporate. Put the real fans back on the court, students on the sides. Move the fans closer behind the backboards as well. 10-11k is all you need if it’s setup correctly

I was a freshman for the last final four run. First 200 students still had court side section then. It was awesome leaving my last class at 4:30 and going straight to lineup for those 6:00 midweek games.
