GOOD.

I have an open contract with a government agency to supply some goods and they are so incredibly hard to deal with. The absolute worst make-work bozos that couldnt' hack it in real life. They work four day weeks. They demand to know each step my guys are going to take, every half hour. They want to know the make and model of each piece of equipment we use.

This is not how you get stuff done. This is how you obstruct stuff and justify your existence. And waste literally trillions of taxpayer dollars.

From a regulation standpoint, government probably needs to get out of the way of private money significantly; less unnecessary regulation.

I totally believe government needs to be more efficient. But in theory I’m OK with them making sure you’re doing your job if they are paying you our tax dollars.

Obviously, I’m completely ignorant to your situation

And people act like Trump isn't draining the swamp as fast as he can legally.

This is the first president in forever to actually try.

LOL.. federal salary makes up less than 5 % of the budget and less than 1% of GDP. But I guess it makes you feel good. Way to stick it to them..haha

Well that's certainly one way to lie about it. Now add in pension costs and benefits so you don't look like a complete moron.

You are way understating this. Those federal workers persecute and regulate the rest of us. We are saving way more than the impact to the federal budget; we are saving through gained private sector efficiency.

The hilarity is what you describe is government workers view of the shite contract companies provide. Contracts selected are often bottom feeders with the lowest bid provided, so of course with so many of you being shite you will run into people wanting to hold you to what you agreed, in the contract

NYState under its last GOP governor did a good job of cutting back the monster labyrinth that was state government. He froze hiring and let attrition do the work. If something critical came up short, he would move personnel from non-critical departments to fill the gap. Worked better than any other attempt.

Arrests might make you feel good.

But what matters is purging the mid level bureaucrats who abuse the system.

Fire 8,000 or arrest 3...
