Val Jarrett and John Kerry seemed determined to reset regional politics to where Iran was the dominant force over Saudi Arabia. Getting nukes was a way of them cementing Iranian power because at that point it would be too late to take out the regime.

Is this another right wing fantasy thread? Under Obama we had monitors inside Iran’s nuclear facilities. Trump canceled the monitoring during his first administration.
The lack of monitoring and access is a direct product of a stupid Trump action. The absence of access and monitors inside the program is the primary reason for the militarization of the Iranian nuclear program.

Why would Iran feel the need for hiding non nuclear ambitions, the reasons of monitoring in the first place? What civilian nuclear needs are there for 60% plus enriched uranium other than nuclear weapons? Do you think pulling out monitors made decide that maybe they could start suddenly to enrich ?
