Is Mullin actually serious about pulling customs out of O'Hare, JFK, Newark, Dulles, etc?

Does he not grasp that if you're flying back internationally to Birmingham, Nashville, or New Orleans, you still have to clear customs at O'Hare or Newark?
If that's what he's thinking, it's pretty stupid...unless it's just rhetoric on his part.

He has exactly as much experience in law enforcement as Noem. That's my biggest beef with him. It's one thing for him to challenge a guy to a fight in a hearing. But Trump doesn't give a shite whether the guy he puts in a position like this has any experience in law enforcement.

Someone tell me what good this would do? Seems like a way to frick US citizens.
illegals aren't flying in and going through customs, so what sanctuary city policies tie to customs.

Its just rhetoric but....
Why would you have to clear customs in Newark.....if there was no customs...you would have to clear it where there was customs like Nashville or Birmingham. Therefore the planes would travel there versus NYC..hmmmmmm. And if the flights didnt come then you might as well move your business from the city. The rest of Wall Street would move, etc.
And do you have any idea what this would do to employment in that city. There is over 100 billion in international cargo flying/shipping through there.
La Guardia just spent 8 billion upgrading and JFK is in the process of spending 19 billion.
Shiver me timbers that would indeed make it a sanctuary city given the peace and quiet when everyone is gone.

He's saying those airports for the most part don't accept intercontinental flights... Most are going to land in LA, SF, Seattle, Chicago, NY, Atlanta and then route to home destinations. So you go through customs there.
ETA; Its a stupid fricking idea/threat. Its not possible, as the airlines couldn't accommodate and it would absolutely decimate international travel.
