They know what the black male was wearing and what he's driving, but he's unidentified. That's odd and slightly concerning because it makes me wonder if this was random. Just got the Amber Alert as I'm sure most of you did as well.

Driving a 2013 grey Tundra - license plate is C372710
Driver is wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and brown boots

Find this mother fricker, OT.

UPDATE: possibly found ok!

Low odds but possible.

An absurdly high % of these cases involve family.

The next highest group is an aquaintence of the family.

Stranger danger does exist but just barely.

Who knows? It's usually family or someone they know but this time they specifically say the abductor is unidentified, which is odd in a situation where they know the abductor is family.

Oh damn. That scenario sucks all around because I'm sure the thief is panicking and that raises the polarity of the outcomes dramatically

I think he’s saying that’s why the “unidentified” descriptor doesn’t make a lot of sense if either of these are the case.

I hope they find the child safe. This happened in NOLA a couple years ago and kid was left crawling on an interstate ramp IIRC. Kid ended up being found and was ok though

This is where ALPR shine. I know many of you don't like them but in these types of cases the kidnapped person is found within 24 hrs of the abduction.

more info about gas station.

BATON ROUGE — Your help is needed to find a pick-up truck that was stolen from a gas station in Baton Rouge Wednesday morning with a one-year-old toddler inside of it. An amber alert has now been issued for the missing boy.

The 2013 black Tundra pick-up truck was allegedly stolen from a convenience store on Airline Hwy. & Foster Dr. area around 8 a.m. on April 8, 2026. That’s on Airline Highway near Plank Rd.

UWK is told by law enforcement sources a toddler boy, Ian Castellanos, 22 months-old, Hispanic, last seen wearing a brown sweater and khaki pajama pants, was in the backseat of the truck when it was stolen. The mother had gone inside the gas station quickly and left the truck on with the little boy in it.

The truck has a Louisiana license plate of C372710.

Baton Rouge Police are actively searching for the truck and the person accused of stealing it. The suspect is wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and brown boots.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP, BRPD at 389-2000 or call 911.

It's a stolen truck; it's not his license plate.
