Good evening. Chicken requested today that the WFDT thread be maintained as a continually running thread. So, we can use this one going forward, just bumping it day-to-day as anyone desires to post. The purpose of this thread was always to create points of discussion for posters. This new format should work just fine.

For me tonight, I’ll be having a hamburger steak and salad. Again.

Let’s not drive traffic to one of the slowest boards on the website. No no.

This makes no sense. Kills the entire spirit of the WFDT thread.

Grilled some lemongrass chicken thighs and made lettuce wraps with pickled carrot, marinated cucumbers, and nouc cham.

8 top at Sushi KoKo for the youngesten’s birthday. Still hard to believe we have a restaurant of this caliber at our disposal (in addition to Parish).

Leftover pasta.

This format will kill the WFDT, imo.

Crawfiah Stew.

I bought a sack of peelers Wednesday for $40. Wife, Daughter and I ate some boiled and peeled the rest. Ended up with 3 lbs of meat. I took some of that and made a crawfish stew, with some fresh yard eggs in it. Making a dish with crawfish that you peeled is som much better than when you get in a store.

I knew this morning that it was going to be a nice evening so I took some dogs and sausages out of the freezer to thaw for the grill.

Also had some smoked boudin from Kartchner's that I thawed as well.

While that was grilling I tossed some shoestring fries in the fryer with fresh new oil. Also cracked open a nice cold beverage.

Made some cole slaw earlier too.

Time to eat!!!
