Anything that leaves even the remnants of this regime in charge and another generation will be faced dealing with them again down the road.
I don’t want boots on the ground over there but I certainly hope we are quietly and methodically continuing to provide any and all support necessary for the Iranian people to eventually take matters into their own hands.
Long term, I don’t think any true “deal” can be expected to be made (and abided by) with the Islamic Republic government.

You look at Marine Traffic and there are a few ships transiting the strait, but there’s no ships near any Iranian ports or Karg Island.

They better be careful or we'll use all that reverse engineered alien technology some on here are so sure we have stockpiled and that Trump keeps dangling in front of them in cryptic promises of revelation to tease them with.
