Best tasting, clean ingredient Vanilla protein?

Looking for recommendations on a good tasting vanilla protein powder, but one with cleaner ingredient.
I haven’t used a whole lot.
Recently used
Orgain- Looking for better taste if possible
Just Ingredients- Great for ingredients but looking to see if I can get better taste
Syntha 6- Great tasting, but full of junk
Main point for flavor is when using it to make different high protein desserts, the Orgain & Just Ingredients don’t have enough vanilla flavor.

I use Jocko Molk to make vanilla ice cream base, tastes great in a shake too, but for that I prefer mixing banana/strawberry or cookies and cream.

Maybe it's a typo on your part, but you typed "ingredient" singular. Is there 1 ingredient you're looking to avoid, or are you just looking for higher quality ingredients across the board?
Also, have you thought about experimenting with a flavorless protein powder and then using actual vanilla or vanilla extract for the flavor?
Does it matter what kind of protein, whey, casein, etc?

Truenutriion allows you to blend proteins at whatever ratio you want. I got a custom blend, and the "grains" are extremely tiny. Although I've never had problems with Molk, the TN is probably the easiest mixing protein I've ever used, if that matters. I like your idea of going flavorless and juicing it with real vanilla extract, etc.

I know that that is an idea I got from Rippetoe. It's an old Starting Strength video from long ago, where he was showing people how to make their protein shakes and I just thought it was so simple and tasty to me I really haven't done much else over the years.
In that sense, I'm the worst guy to ask about flavors when it comes to protein powders and protein shakes because I like to do it the Rip way. But it works, I don't do flavors, well, I do, but it's the flavor of whatever soda I use.
His "recipe" if you want to call it that is stupid simple, at the core you have the un-flavored protein powder (99.9% of the time I'm using whey isolate, but I think you can use anything as long as it's unflavored, hell...you can probably use flavors too), and instead of milk or water you use diet soda. Rip's old video was using diet root beer or diet orange soda.
1)diet root beer or diet orange soda poured into a blender and left to off gas the CO2 for several minutes
2)add un-flavored protein powder
3)add a splash of fat free coffee creamer(if I had to guess, this is about a teaspoon from watching him do it) (I've done this, but over the years I've dropped it because I don't feel it adds anything I want, I don't use fat free coffee creamer for anything else, so I can't justify buying it just to have it go bad in the fridge. I think his rationale was that it gave the final shake a creamier texture and it helped keep the protein powder mixed up in solution, this may have been true with older powder that mixed not so great, but I think it's superfluous)
4)With either the lid off the blender, or the center cap thingy removed from the lid, just hit that pulse button 5 or 6 times and mix up the shake, it'll foam up and fizz, especially if it's root beer, but it won't splash around too much or overflow, not if you let it off gas (go flat) enough, 5 minutes is enough)
That's it. Diet root beer/diet orange (zero calories, so....nothing) + whey isolate, so you end up with a whole bunch of protein (I do 2 scoops, so probably about 50g of protein), 1-ish grams of carbs, maybe 1-ish grams of fat, pretty flavorful, pretty "filling" and it's only 100-200 calories, depending on how many scoops you put in. I don't get really fancy with these things, it's just a vehicle to boost protein intake when needed, if I can't eat it all.

I want to try this. So you’re putting diet root beer and unflavored whey into a regular blender.. and then just hit Pulse a few times?

yeah, that's it, creamy root beer shake, it's not bad for as low effort as it seems.

"If your supplements taste good they either don't contain what is on the label or they are loaded with artificial garbage and fillers"
-Dan Duchaine
The really clean protein powders usually are very chalky and mix horribly and typically don't 'taste' very good. There is a reason for this they are missing all the additives like emulsifiers, foaming agents, artificial sweeteners, flavors, preservatives, gums, etc.
I just avoid ones that have gums, sucralose, ace k, emulsifiers, etc. I do one scoop of 'flavored' and one scoop of unflavored. That's about as clean as you are going to get and still have good mixability. I use transparent labs and Earth Fed Muscle for protein.

Not 1 ingredient no, but as much artificial stuff as possible. Trying to avoid sucralose, maltodextrin, seed oils, dyes
Open to either kind, whey/casein

I make smoothie bowls often with the Orgain & Just Ingredient brands and they are fine.
My issue I'm trying to solve is when using protein powder to make healthier high protein desserts to kill my sweet tooth. I do use vanilla extract often, and maybe I just need to use more or switch to an unflavored and just load up the vanilla extract?
Like ice cream in a Ninja Creami, and different recipes I've seen on reels on social media for stuff like cookies, brownies, pudding etc.

I've been a big fan of of Dymatize 100 whey isolate powders. I havent had the vanilla but all other flavors have been great.
here is the listed ingredients: HYDROLYZED WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE, WHEY PROTEIN ISOLATE. LESS THAN 2% OF: NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, SALT, SOY LECITHIN, SUCRALOSE, STEVIOL GLYCOSIDES (STEVIA).
Also upvoted you to balance out the down vote from whatever angry lil shite has against someone asking a legitimate question

They've been my go to for a while now. Their flavors have all been fanstastic, they mix pretty well. I think they are pretty clean overall all things considered and balance taste and everything else you want pretty well.

Transparent Labs is fairly clean

My nutritionist recommended Naked Whey. I get the unflavored, but they have a vanilla as well.

Not shitting on you, but this seems the exact opposite of the purpose of protein powder. You can put a tenderloin in cast iron in the same time, and have... Meat.
Protein powder is to slam 60g in 90 seconds. Not create whatever millennial dirty drinks with 10 ingredients. Just my opinion.
