It’s a necessary evil when you have radical Islamic terrorists overseas plotting jihad against the United States.

Nothing like secret courts in a supposedly free country. That shite needs to end.

Everyone continues to change their views because a pathological liar tells them to. It’s the funniest thing I’ve seen out of MAGA honestly.

Indeed. This is common sense to most people who aren’t never-Trumpers.

I fully support Trump 100%

Yes, I’m eternally grateful for the never ending stream of on the radar terrorists that have been stopped thanks to my diminished rights.

You can try to deflect and act like you don’t know what I meant. But it just shows that you know exactly what I meant and don’t have any other way to defend the flip flopping.

What “rights” have been diminished? Are you regularly calling people in Afghanistan?

He even posted about how it harmed him yet will sign off on it.

IIRC this is a temporary 704 or whatever it’s called

FISA and the Patriot act should be cancelled tomorrow and scattered to the wind and everyone who disagrees doesn’t deserve the freedoms our founding fathers tried to give them.

Trum is becoming what every Republican in power ends up becoming...betrayer.

They always betray us. Every fricking time. Always helping out the bankers, the oligarchs, the Jews. At our expense.

Every fricking time.

Many of whom were trained and funded by the very government that demands these powers to police the monsters they create.

The Founding Fathers didn’t give any freedoms or rights to foreign nationals. They would not have had a problem with intercepting communications of foreigners plotting attacks on the United States. After all, it was the same founding fathers who later passed the Alien and Sedition Acts.

Are you not aware of how the agencies can and have consistently used a step through to use these tools against US citizens?

Maybe google Carter Page or the other Trump officials who were targeted this way?

Have you looked at the approval rates for the courts involved?

If they hadn’t built so many holes into the rules governing their use it would make a colander look solid or lied at every step about the “controls” involved or even shown any integrity about using it for domestic political purposes we could talk.

But for a “Trump supporter” to defend it after the descent into the police state scandals of the last 10-12 years is incomprehensible.

They don’t deserve these powers and if we don’t destroy this now it’ll be used by the Democrats against anyone on the right they’re threatened by as soon as they get it back.

Because once they’re out of office, they need those people for money.
