Cant Remember the guys name but I couldnt have said it better myself...
Show YOURSELF!!!

One could point to this and say Miles' first three seasons he benefited from coaching against UF when Urban was implementing his program and transitioning to Tebow and Bama was clueless under Shula. This has changed significantly over the last three years as Meyer and Saban continue to recruit well and their teams play at a high level. One could also say AU has become a shell of the 13-0 team and presents an easier W the past 2 seasons to pad LSU's W total. I am not impressed with the LSU coaching the past two seasons. Posi-tigers can continue to hold to their beliefs, but the product on the field, especially the dysfunctional offense via poor play calling, stupid infractions and lack of execution, has exhibited poor elements of play that have existed since Miles took over, its simply more magnified when the offensive play is so putrid. Taking off the P&G goggles I will be the first to admit that Meyer's and Saban's ability to build and/or rebuild programs outstrips Miles' resume. Meyer was begging LSU to show him they could stop the generic high school offense he ran this season and LSU couldn't.

People overlook the impact of adding a new center and guard on the line while breaking in a new QB which I admit is a challenge. But that in no way is an excuse for how badly the offense has been managed, the poor execution, and continuing ability to kill productive plays with pre- and post- snap penalties. Many times it is a victory just to get a snap off prior to the play clock hitting zero or having to call time out. Does that sound like a well coached unit?

Win or lose, much satisfaction can be had when a team plays to its abilities and executes well week in and week out. Doesn't always happen, but for a winning program more often than not most games are played that way. The last two seasons it just hasn't happened. I don't know, it is just hard to fathom why this team is so dysfunctional in so many areas and can still win the majority of games. Have to start at the top with the coaching or lack thereof.

Great post.

I'd like to point out that Saban has also been helped immensely by the scheduling fortunes. No doubt Bama is better coached than LSU, but the gumps have benefited immensely the past 2 years from a weaker SEC and not having to play Florida. Last year Tenn, AU, LSU, MissSt were not very good and OleMiss didnt get hot til later in the year.

I'm guessing at least 35 points since we couldn't stop it.

wish it were mine, cant remember the guys name i got it from, but he wrote out my thoughts better than i could!! He said something else about how Coaching is the common denomiator, that it relates everything together, if its the weak link you gotta replace it with a stronger one or throw som WD40 on it!... Now thats logic...

And the point about Meyer winning running a high school offense and winning was to intimate that a supposed high octane, multi-dimensional offense run by Crowton ain't worth squat if it can't be executed well enough to score TD's.

When we did not punt against State, we scored more than that.

There is one BIIIIIIIIGGG issue missing....the QB situation the last couple of years. But ya'll keep covering your eyes and blame everything on the coaches....it's easier that way.

Can't say I disagree with a lot of that post but that part is retarded. That was the least amount of points scored by Urban Meyer-coached Florida team in his career there. Defense put us in a great position to win that game.

That the players have changed over the seasons but the same guy is on the sidelines and the same issues occur every game regarding game management, penalties, discombobulated coach/player communication trying to get plays called, burning timeouts needlessly, and no coherent flow/rhythm to the offense.

I still think LSU can win with Jefferson, but the offense better play like its game 11 into the season instead of game 1.

No, this is always the players' fault.

im still not sure how this qualifies for the most logical thing to have ever been typed on the rant.

we were down to essentially our fourth string QB last year (perrilloux, hatch, lee, jefferson). and coming into this year jefferson had 2 starts under his belt. 2. and yes i agree our offense is dismal but the defense has been solid with the exception of last year. and we made changes and look at us now. and think about the D next year. absolute studs. the offense will be much improved next year with 3 of the 5 olinemen staying, plus a returning QB, a great receiving core, and a lot of depth at RB. i cannot believe that one off year causes this much choas. this stuff happens to every good program. look at USC this year. Look at Oklahoma this year. Look at Ohio State this year. We're not alone. and honestly you can make a strong debate that LSU is the fourth best team in the country. Florida, Texas, Bama then who? Cinci? Boise? TCU? Considering that IMO we should have/could have beaten Bama we have a strong case for being the fourth best team in the nation. and people are still bitching. i dont get it
