That dude was going for the record when he took those three shots. I have no doubt in my mind he would never have taken three shots from that position without that thought being in his mind.

This show was freaking awesome. Mrs. Completely even stopped watching the Survivor finale to watch it with me.

All the stories were amazing. The 1.5 mile kill shot in Afghanistan was unbelievable. The parts on Fallujah and Hathcock in Vietnam were great too. But I think my favorite part was the .50 cal shot through the cinder wall from 1 mile that killed 3 simultaneously. The blood flying onto the back wall was a nice touch.

This was, plain and simple, a bad arse show. The Vietnam shot through the scope, hitting an insurgent in the head at 600 yard (while the target is at a dead sprint) and the 1.5 mile kill shot. It's simply amazing what these sniper guys can do.

Gunny Hathcock was a bad man. They just picked one of his most dramatic good tv shots. Read his book.

Carlos Hathcock Not only did he hold the longest confirmed kill until fairly recently he racked up quite a body count and had quite the bounty on his head during the Vietnam war.
