Kind of him to say. We might be better than our record says, but one conference win doesn't legitimize being a good basketball team, let alone being able to beat the worst of NBA teams.

As terrible as the Nets are, everybody on that team was pretty much a star in college. They'd have no chance.

It is. I read some of the stuff on their board last night and the whole "they could have beaten several NBA teams" thing is a schtick (kinda like "germans" here). Apparently they have one idiotic poster who makes comments like that after they lose...saying "those guys could have beaten 12 NBA teams tonight" and all of the other posters make fun of him.
