Read a [link=(great article)]https://www.lostlettermen.com/2010/05/in-the-news-lsus-jamarcus-russell-laying-low-in-hometown/[/link] in the Times-Picayune about Russell and how he's just chilling in Mobile, AL. You know while everyone else argues about how big of a bust he is, it's nice to see Russell himself is just living his life. No need to get worked up over what others are saying about you.

Of course not, when you have cash falling out of your pockets. I'd tell everyone to kiss my arse too.

I would say the Raiders are a bust. But if Russell wants to chill in AL more power to him I'm sure the CFL will come calling eventually.

The problem is that he had the same nonchalant/not worried approach to being a quarterback in the NFL which is why he is now in the position he is in being released.

Let's face it, Jamarcus Russell is an enormous talent that has proven to be lazy. He made it in college on pure athleticism. Sadly, that doesn't cut it in the NFL. If it did, other QBs with a similarly big arm (Jeff George, Ryan Leaf etc.) would have done great in the NFL.
