The g/f (nude pics only, post your e-mail) and I made our way down to Emerils on Tchopitoulas last night. All I can say is WOW

We started with the BBQ shrimp app. It took everything I had to not pick up the plate and lick it clean. The sauce was amazing and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. I ordered the Andouille Crusted Drum, she ordered the 'Mac & Cheese'. My drum was the best piece of fish I have had, the crust had a unique flavor that I had never tasted before on fish. The g/f's Mac & Cheese was the single best plate I have ever had (granted, I am young and this was my first top notch place, besides upscale steakhouses, that I have dined at). The pasta was perfect, the light creamy sauce was perfect, the shrimp in it were perfect, everything perfect about that dish. We finished the meal off with the banana cream pie. I'll start by saying that I am not a banana dessert fan, I really only like them whole. Needless to say, their banana cream pie was probably the best dessert I have ever had.

It is obvious by my reviews that it was easily the best meal of my life. I told the g/f that going to Emerils could have started a bad (but good) habit of wanting to experience all of the fine dining restaurants in New Orleans.

Thank you glass, Gris, and everyone else who helped me out with this one!

We told you!! Glad you trusted us and the night turned out so memorable for both of you! Your gf gets a lot of credit since she was the one who initially suggested Emeril's.

Glad you liked it. One thing I really like about Emeril's is the service. Beyond reproach.

The BBQ shrimp and banana cream pie are top notch.
Glad you took our recs. Good job my man.
