What are your upsets in the Field of 68?

Let's define upsets as anything greater than a 10 over a 7, and any team higher than a 5 making the Sweet 16.
My upsets:
Midwest
None, straight chalk the whole way except MSU beating Duke in the Sweet 16
South
VCU beating Michigan and Kansas to get to the Elite 8
Minnesota over UCLA (UCLA as a 6 with Jordan Adams is absurd)
Florida into the Final 4
East
Cal over UNLV (horrible job by the committee giving a 12 a fricking home game)
Montana over Syracuse (because I think that little of Syracuse)
Cal to the Sweet 16 since they beat 13 seed Montana
Marquette over Miami and Indiana to the Final 4
West
Pitt over Gonzaga in the second round
Belmont over Arizona
Kansas State to the Elite 8 because of an easy Sweet 16 match-up, but I could actually see them lose in the first round as well. I think that part of the bracket is shockingly bad.
Overall, I thought the NCAA Selection Committee did a terrible job. The Midwest, especially at the top is unbelievably strong. Louisville got screwed. Colorado St, St. Louis, Okie State, and then an Elite 8 game against Duke or Mich State? How the frick is that the road for the national number 1 seed? The Duke seeding is also bad.
Other huge errors: How is Pitt only an 8? How is Illinois a 7? They should be 10-11. Oregon as a 12 with the Pac 12 title means they weren't getting in otherwise. Most people had them as a 12 before the title. UCLA has a 6 is ridiculous, especially considering the injury to Adams. And as I said earlier, Cal getting a home game

Oregon is going to the sweet 16. They had a great year and got no fricking respect. They are a 12, lost the regular season crown the last week of the season and won the tournament. Colorado finished 5th in the PAC 12 and they are a 10 seed.

Man, people in Memphis are so excited for the tournament. I try to tell them that Memphis really isn't any good. They don't listen

Yeah, VCU should cause Michigan fits. Only hope is it's in Auburn Hills, though the Spartoonies in the building will be rooting like crazy for Shaka.
Minnesota is already a super trendy prick. Not sure I buy it.
I agree that the Midwest is the so called bracket of doom. I wish St. Louis had to go out west instead, I would have them going through there.
I am calling the Gottfather to beat Indiana in the second round.

UCLA is without Adams, and they are HORRIBLE at rebounding. Minnesota is one of the best rebounding teams in the country.

In general, I always bet against him. I don't them getting past Temple.

That top half of the West is so bad. K-State could be in the Elite 8 or out against Boise. I am pretty sure Pitt will beat the Zags but am hedging by sticking K-State as the team coming out of the top half of the bracket.
The quality between the Midwest and West is shocking.
East also has some horrible match-ups.

I could honestly see them making the Elite 8 (Hope to god they don't)

Dead serious when I say this. Duke, Louisville, St. Louis, Mich State, and maybe even Oklahoma State would have been my pick coming out of the West.

Bill self will not lose to fricking Shaka smart again

I know the guys are going to come out angry and play tough. But I think it's a match-up nightmare for KU since they don't have elite ball handlers.
As a Duke fan, there were some teams I really didn't want to face like Pitt, Michigan State, and Marquette. If I was a Kansas fan, I would have VCU at the top of the list.

This VCU team is better than the one that made the Final 4.

Looking at the East, the top half of the bracket is a fricking joke. They got the worst 4 and the worst 5 in the tournament.
Posted on 3/17/13 at 8:03 pm to Keys Open Doors
The teams that got seeded in the Midwest and the South got screwed big time.

That's actually why I'm scared of Michigan.
