So we should draft a QB then.

That fact can mostly be attributed to Peyton Manning having a godly season rather than Drew declining.

People can say all they want, but this has been a damn good season for Brees. Good to see a relatively low number of interceptions as well.

39 touchdowns to only 12 interceptions, with over 5000 yards passing, is pretty damn incredible.

I still can't get over the bus boy and waiter in New Orleans telling me we have to get rid of Drew. The Sad part is there are plenty of others that feel the same way. People will be crying for another Drew once he retires.

pretty meaningless. Discussion of his performance as related to the stats can be productive though. First main thoughts to me this year are:

1. He's still cookin and showing no signs of age or letting up.

2. On the upside, it is the lowest INT rate of his career at 1.8%

3. The downside isn't him but the need for improving the O Line- as represented by being sacked 5.4% of the time. Sacks by year starting in 2006: 18, 16, 13, 20, 25, 24, 26, and now 37. Without a Newton or Rothlisberger physique, this trend will eventually result in a Brees outage.

Anyone who says that we need to get rid of Brees was not a "die hard" fan UNTIL Brees came to town.

They are also usually very ignorant to the game of football as well. Some people act as if a Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, or fun boy Aaron Rodgers is the norm for QB's in the NFL. Their ignorance is quite comical to be honest.

Who give a flying fuk!!!! Last time I checked we are in the playoffs and headed to Philly! The season isn't over until it's over. We have been spoiled worrying about stats and records too much. How about winning a road game in the playoffs. That would be a first.

does anyone remember that little record Dan Marino held for 27 years?

Drew Brees has beaten that record for the past 3 years. including this year. We're in the playoffs!

Considering the line, it's damn impressive that his interception rate isn't higher. He also never throws the ball away, he's a gunslinger. Look at Ryan, his line sucks this year and he is turrible. He also isn't shy at throwing the ball away, almost Flacco-esque. Just shows the huge gap in talent between them - when Brees has to find yards he throws it to where his guy has a shot or no one.
