So I just realized, that I had booked an anniversary trip to New Orleans a few weeks back, and just realized it will be during the first home game. I know its just pre-season, but I was wondering how the quarter gets for a pre-season game? Does it get any crazier than normal?

Yes. A bit. Especially after the game.

I think the game starts at 7, we will be at a comedy/burlesque show starting at 9 at One Eyed Jacks. If the show is long enough, I think we may miss some of the crowd. But will probably run into them if we venture closer to bourbon after the show.

thing about the preseason crowd is it's kind of spread out in leaving from halftime to the end of the game. it won't be in a celebratory mood if a win or a pissed mood if we lose. it will be more mellow and ready to have a good time

that's what I was thinking/hoping for, I don't mind it at all. to me, the more saints fans the better. but my wife on the other hand, was nervous and thinking it would be like when they won the super bowl. lol

it is pretty relaxing. I don't like paying full price for the tickets, but they are enjoyable

We try to make drinking games out of them
