Most Gruesome Death in GoT

Game of Thrones is known for many things, and one of those things are the jaw-dropping death scenes. There have been quite a few in the series so far, and my question today for you GoT fans is, whose death do you believe was the most gruesome?
To me, it has to be the death scene of Oberyn Martell, the "Red Viper". When Gregor Clegane crushes his head, to me, that had to be the most gruesome, stomach-turning scene of them all. Not to mention, right before the skull-crush, Gregor aka "The Mountain", grinds Oberyn's eyes into mush with his thumbs. OUCH!!
So what do y'all think? Is there a more gruesome death than Oberyn Martell's?

Viserys Targaryen had a pretty bad death

There's no argument for any other death than that one

In the show, that's the only possible answer.
In the books, didn't baby aegon get the same thing? Doesn't being a kid make it a little more gruesome?
Elia's was fricked up too considering Gregor had Aegon's brains all over his hands as he raped and murdered her.

I actually did think about Viserys and pondered which death would be considered more painful. They both involved the head, and both were pretty extreme. I think Viserys' death was quicker than Oberyn's though, as the precusor to Oberyn's death was getting his eyes crushed. Viserys had molten gold poured over him which pretty much killed him instantly, so if there's a comparison there, Oberyn's suffering was longer and there was more damage done to his head (which burst like a watermelon, which, I've read, is technically an impossible scenario, for a person to crush another's skull with their bare hands)

Molten metal to the dome.
Imagine the worst brain freeze times a billion then your worst headach times eleventy zillion and then you are dead.
Brutal

Oberyn & Elia Martell

No, I believe are is the correct linking verb, as I'm referring to "scenes" which is plural. If I was referring to a singular scene, is would be the right word.

In the show definitely Oberyn
In the books any of the Mountain's men's victims. Amory Lorch and Vargo Hoat's were satisfyingly gruesome.

That is a good point UMRealist, the death of Baby Aegon would most certainly be the most gruesome out of the books and tv series combined. The deaths of both Elia and Aegon is what shows us what an absolute monster Gregor Clegane is.

No, you are referring to "one". Take out "of those things" and say it out loud.
But I was just giving you shite because I'm stuck studying

For me it was Robb's wife getting stabbed in the pregnant belly

Worst one I've seen was to that non main character where the rat was clawing through his guts.
Worse way to go out.

On the show, it's the Red Viper hands down.
In the books, even though we don't "see" it, the deaths of Brandon and Rickard Stark (Ned's brother and father killed by the Mad King) is pretty damn gruesome.
