You've been given 100k to spend on a boat.

What do you buy? What is it equipped with?
Also list what the boat is for (freshwater fishing, inshore fishing, offshore fishing, island hopping with the fam, skiing, etc)
Rules:
- can only buy 1 boat
- cannot spend less than 50k (40k if used)
- you can keep whatever is left over but must indicate some of what you'd do with it.
- you can add your own monies to the purchase.
Rules subject to modification.

Honestly, nice used Pathfinder 2400TE, should have around $50k left over. Id prob invest in a camp on the water in Dularge/Cocodrie w leftover amount. Or buy a brand new Everglades w added monies of course....those things are

I'm getting a 24' bay boat with twin 200's (likely a custim aluminum as I don't know how many makers would be able to accommodate). Stand through tower. That'd put me up around 100k I have a feeling, but if not, I can blow the rest on gear and tackle easily. A boat i can run out to the close rigs for snapper and cobia without having to have a dedicated "offshore" boat.

My mom's neighbor has a BJ 224 with a Yamaha 300, and that is one fine arse boat. I almost wrecked into a parked car looking at it the other day

I would probably call up Hal Chittum or Chris Morjohn and have a boat built to my needs.
Second choice would be to get Hells Bay to build me a new copy of a bare bones rolled gunnel Waterman. Tiller. Aluminum Ram-Lin trailer.
