Looks pretty good IMO.

10. New York Giants – Ronnie Stanley, T, Notre Dame: Adding the Irish star would allow the Giants to move last year's first rounder, T Ereck Flowers, to his more natural right side while potentially giving the O-line bookends well into the next decade.
11. Chicago Bears – Jack Conklin, T, Michigan State: The Bears spent quite a bit on their defense in free agency, and the draft's wealth of D-linemen allows them to get a good one later. But Conklin would solidify a suspect O-line by allowing Kyle Long to move back inside to guard and keeping newly signed T Bobby Massie on the right side where he belongs.
12. New Orleans Saints – Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville: The Saints allowed 28 more points in 2015 than any other team. They could certainly use a three-down lineman whose quickness makes him an asset in stopping the run and getting penetration on passing downs.
13. Dolphins (from Eagles) – Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama: Only the Browns had more issues stopping the run in the AFC than Miami. Plugging Ragland into the middle of the Dolphins defense would have the dual benefit of shutting down some of those rushing lanes while also allowing Alonso to play in space on the outside.
14. Oakland Raiders – Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson: The Raiders struggled to stop the pass in 2015, partially because no one not named Khalil Mack had more than four sacks. Lawson is an all-down disruptor whose 25.5 tackles for a loss was the most in the Football Bowl Subdivision in 2015.

Chad will not be happy about this.

If he does we won't draft him simply because he will be the consensus fan pick at that point.

I would rather Lawson instead of Rankins

We need a DT with any semblance of pass rush more than a DE. Both are immediate needs but pressure up the middle would be more beneficial to our D.

If we can get Rankins, and then an end like Carl Nassib in round 3 we could have a nice looking D line.
What sucks is 2 years ago we were loaded with young, cheap talent on the D Line... Way to go Bill and frick you Junior.

1st Rd/2nd Rd
Lawson/Butler or Johnson
Rankins/Dodd or Ogbah
No preference in which we end up with. Would fap hard enough to chafe in either outcome.

Agree

Having a legit pass rush stud at DT would do a lot for our front 7. I'd be happy with Rankins or Lawson though.
Just looking at drafts, DT and DE have a lot of depth in the first 2-3 rounds, so I think we can do well as long as we pursue one of each within the first 3 rounds.

What happened to Jenkins from GA. Is he just injured all the time? Thought he was the dt we needed. Still in utter disbelief we got rid of hakeim hicks too. What a blunder. But, I think Lawson has the tools to be a beast and help the outside pass rush we desperately need.

Jenkins actually had a really good season individually

I knew he played well when he could stay on the field. Just thought he had a lot of nagging injuries

I know this has nothing to do with the draft, but is Kevin Williams coming back? Do we have him signed for next year or no?

Saw him out at Apres in NOLA Saturday. Dude looks good, probably down 20-30 lbs from his rookie year. I think he was drinking water, too.
re: Rankins
Think how much better Jordan, Edebali, and Kikaha would be with some punch in the middle. We actually have talent coming from the outside, which you really cannot say at all from the interior.
