Best way to handle a neighbors barking dog?

New neighbors moved in and their pit has been barking non stop for hours. What's the OT's suggestion and most alpha way to handle the situation?
Call the cops and let them shoot it or go bang on the neighbors door and unleash holy terror on them with a string of obscenities?

There are bark control devices that look like bird houses. They emit a high pitched noise when they detect a bark. It shuts most dogs up very quickly.
