LSU can't get the key hits. Runners on base almost every inning, but they die there. Meanwhile, seems like TCU scores every time they get one runner on.

It's been a consistent theme under PM. We can hit for average but our clutch hitting is mediocre too often

Our hitters should be taught to aim their hits away from defenders! PM teaches them to hit the ball at the defense especially with runners in scoring position! He plays for the error!

The only disappointing hits tonight to me was Duplantis. It looked like he was just trying to make contact. IMO you step in that box to rip shots. Duplantis hit to not strike out.

WilsonPickett, why don't you go offer your advice personally to Manieri about where to hit the ball. I am sure he would be thrilled to hear from a Sports Bar Hero like yourself.

1st inning runners at 2nd and 3rd with 1 out the Batter swings at 2 pitches in the dirt for a strikeout. It was 2 terrible swings. They had the pitcher in trouble. That was a huge change of events.

With the amount of stupid in these baseball threads, it's hard to tell sometimes.
