Was the only player who wasn't slow/gave a shite on the backline in the first half and assisted Wood's goal on what was a heads up play to get the ball back in the 6 after Honduras tried to clear Acosta's free kick.

He's very consistent in his performances for both Sporting KC and the national team. It's why he keeps getting call-ups, and I won't be surprised at all if he makes the cut for Russia, presuming we qualify.

He's not the type of player to make any all-time best XI lists, but he's just someone we can count on to give us quality minutes, and not make many mistakes.

I have him as the #2 LCB right behind Brooks.

He was involved in goal...thought someone else touched it in between him and Wood?

On the goal we gave up, he was slow to get back into play.

I can't believe Bruce never paired him with Cameron in these 2 games, really absurd decision making.
If you want to pin blame on him for that goal, go right ahead. Can't be more than about 5% culpable for it though. Zusi fell asleep and Omar went full retard.

Exactly. He was the 3rd defender essentially on that ball. He still got over there and was at a tough angle. His options were to stop and cut down the angle for the shot, or fly in and hoping to block the ball. Tough position

I don't know what he has done for his club, but I was impressed with him in Brazil and thought for sure he would be a main stay.

He and Cameron also have great rapport. If brooks is not healthy, that has to be the pairing
