He lines up wide a ton and is the leading receiver on the team. How do services determine who gets additional designations. Isn't it kind of just their discretion ?

No

They’re already always reluctant to do it, I forget who it was that was a straight up WR Some wouldn’t services wouldn’t change. So highlty doubt they do it for an actual RB

Yeah was just wondering. I don't think they have criteria. Just seems like he's used pretty sparingly in running game and catches a ton of passes from variety of spots each week.

But they did do it for Ty Montgomery last year AND Dexter Mccluster (although years ago).

I know. I had TyMont in a league last year.

Which was dumb, but changing a player's position in the middle of the season is dumb period, unless it's a WR/RB moving to QB or defense or something absurd like that. No reason to change a WR or RB to be able to play at both. It's like creating another flex, but it's the player himself that can be flexed.

Don't forget Colston. That TE/WR designation when he was a rookie was money.

I only use them for one league because it's a paid site, but supposedly CBS gives the commissioner the ability to make this change specifically due to the Ty Montgomery issue from last year.

Highly unlikely. Wish they'd do it for Duke Johnson since he's a slot receiver listed as a RB.

As long as he's listed on the team's own depth chart as an RB, I don't think they're changing it

McCaffrey has lined up in the backfield on 76.4 percent of his snaps this season.

He’s not moving to WR
