A note on trading

Some of these trade advice threads are just ridiculous. On top of providing no info on your league size, scoring, roster etc..,,
Per JJ Zacharison on twitter the other day
I love my job and I love interacting with you guys about fantasy football. It's great. But there's one thing that does annoy me each year...
And it has to do with trading. When you trade -- for the love of God -- look at what a trade partner needs, and give them those needs.
If you're trying to sell, I don't know, Amari Cooper -- don't trade Amari Cooper to the team who has AB, Mike Evans, and Brandin Cooks.
So when you say "Which players should I target in a trade?"...stop targeting players. Target teams. Make their team better with your player.
"Who should I look to get for my Carson Wentz?" I don't know, man. Go find the team starting Joe Flacco.
And just because a player is a buy candidate doesn't mean you shouldn't buy players who are simply performing at expectation, too.
The pool of players you'd trade for should be massive. It shouldn't be limited. When it's limited, you won't get a trade done.

Also, please add something along the lines of "When trading, don't look to make a deal just to 'win' it. Make deal that makes sense for both teams and don't give a shite about bragging rights. People will be less likely to deal with your scrub arse in the future when you beat your chest about trade raping someone right after the deal. Save that for the offseason you piece of shite".
Feel free to word that however you'd like.

Agreed, I always look funny at threads asking if they won a trade.
When I am looking at a possible trade I try to look at how much the player I'm looking to aquire will help my team then try to help the other team improve about the same amount.

And the Lord said, Amen

can you add "if you would laugh in the face of this offer, don't send it out"
I mean I get sometimes initially going in slightly low but if its borderline insulting low, just don't send

oh yes if you see a trade offer and don't like it, just click decline. Don't leave it hanging out there like a dick

This, for the love of god. I know it's just fantasy and people have their priorities, but it shouldn't take you 3 damn days to notice you have a trade offer and make a decision.

JJ Zacharison is literally my favorite FF follow on Twitter. He is excellent.
I like to put myself in the other person's shoes. Imagine the teams are swapped and you received that offer. Would you accept it? If it is an easy decline, then don't send it out.

I don't follow him. Will do now
We should have a thread of favorite twitter follows. I know some people won't give up all their sources, but maybe share a few.
