yes. too many people, and "ever" is a long time. Plus i think the chinese government is taking steps, has taken steps, to grow the sport as a geopolitical tool as well. I wouldn't be shocked if they surpass us in the not too distant future, given that emphasis.

China probably, they have a 100% tax on transfers incoming into their league that they invest back into the sport’s development in the country.

India plays cricket, and China has made the world cup, 2002.
They did just as good as we did in 98, 0 points.

China, which has already qualified before, will be in a good position at some point in the future. Australia coming into the AFC and more development in the Middle Eastern nations have hurt their chances since 2002. But they’ve got too much money and size not to get a lot better.
I really don’t think India cares about soccer enough to invest.

Cricket is number one, but there is definitely interest in soccer in the country. There doesn’t seem to be much urgency, though. People seem happy to root for other clubs and countries in major competitions. If/when India does qualify, there will certainly be a lot of excitement.

India’s current best player has 64 international goals but failed to gain traction in the mls in 2010. They have a tremendously long way to go.

China. They're really investing into the game over there

The Indian free agents on FIFA are shite, and since its India there's a ton of them.

Last manager mode I did, India made it to the knockout stages about 20 years down the road

Unlikely since manager modes only last 15 years.
My biggest complaint of the game lol

China is obsessed with basketball, and it's their most popular sport. If anything, they have regressed over the past decade.
I don't see soccer being all that different.

Is it 15? Whatever it is it's too short. I had just gotten Milwall 2nd in the Premier League (simmed all the matches) and then it was over. I didn't play for a long time after that.
