There will be a all out war among the other SEC teams to get him. Some team will inevitably sign him to the biggest contract for a OC in the history of college sports. Then we will have to face him every year and watch him put up 40 or even 50 points on our d. Its just not worth it. I mean who could we possibly hire that would be an upgrade.

That's not even a subtle troll attempt.

The sad part to this question is literally any OC other than Cameron

Still completely mind-boggling our recent history of hiring oc and hc's. Les Miles was 500 in conference when we hired him. He eventually promoted his mediocre ol coach to OC.

Alleva promoted a slightly better than meh dl coach to HC. Our dls did not exactly excel under O. He promoted a TE coach from a horrid offense to be his OC. People taking crazy pills would make more sense.

Please explain what could have been called last night that would have work.

The Oline was getting blown up.

How is that an OC problem?

You at least attempt to scheme around the problem, You don't continue to call slow developing play action passes when your QB is running for his life all night.

Plenty of ways to scheme around a weaker Oline

Literally every other team is able to do it more effectively than LSU with lesser talent

If you can't see how much of a joke Ensminger is based on his body of work the last few years versus cutting edge offenses (the benchmarks) the last few years, nobody on this board should waste any time with you.

Formation your 6'7 and 6'5 WR's in one-on-one matchups on outside the hashes and throw it up. You recruited them because of their height. Use it!

Get some bunch formations and try to use them to spring some guys open in space.

LSU's formations are a vanilla as they come.

The OL getting their arse kicked...again...obviously makes things MUCH tougher. And it would be unlikely LSU would have won the game. But asking your QB to hold on to the ball and navigate a pocket that closed very quickly was madness.

Ensminger's offense never stressed Bama. When you have now gone 8 quarters against these guys without a single fricking point it's not just a product of bad OL play

O is more comfortable with an offense that ranks in the 100's nationally. Seems to be his MO.

Well same could be said when LSU hired their HC. What other teams were lining up to hire Ed O for their head coaching job?

No the biggest problem with firing the OC is Coach O will hire his replacement. That will be a disaster.

Once we could not run the ball and became 1 dimensional it was over. Just throwing the ball up is ridiculous, we tried the quick pass, we tried the short pass, no time for anything else. Bama secondary is as talented as LSU. So the windows are very small.

Now running a spread and having a QB that can get away from the rush would be good, but we can not go there in the middle of the season.

But running our offense is good also if you can block their front and run the ball.

What a HUGE surprise. Who do y'all think you're fooling with these alters and their ridiculous attempts to prop up the coaching staff?
