The way it shakes out right now penn state isn’t an at large team. Even though they’re top 12. The possible opponents are Michigan, Florida, UCF.

They won’t pair us with Florida again.

Does us being ranked behind Florida mean they go to Peach Bowl over us?

I'd honestly still prefer the Peach Bowl but at least the Fiesta would be new and vs a hopefully unique opponent like Michigan or Wash St

No. The teams in the at large pool get sent to where the committee believes the best matchup/situation will be for all teams. Which is exactly how it should be.

I can get behind LSU vs Michigan or Penn State in the Fiesta. We’ve never played there and it’s more well known than the Peach despite it being on equal footing in this new CFP system.

The fiesta used to be a legitamate BCS bowl game.

The peach bowl isn’t terrible especially in that new stadium. I just don’t want to play UCF.

I think a real shot that ucf loses to memphis without their starting qb. That would put winner of boise vs. Fresno state in ny6 in stead. That team would likely end up in fiesta based upon proximity.

I’d like either but if I had to choose I’d go with Fiesta. It’s something different in a part of the country that LSU never really plays in. Could be a good chance to show case the program to the west coast

I would prefer the Fiesta Bowl. I like waking up New Year’s Day and being able to watch LSU.

Would love to see Patterson lined back up against an SEC team he thought he could get away from.

Last stats vs us...

Hungover as hell, LSU football gorging on junk food. It’s a good tradition.
