Dawkins is testifying... Updated - he's done for today continuing tomorrow

This should be interesting. Christian Dawkins has taken the stand in his own defense. This is not common in white collar criminal defense cases.
No telling what he might say.
UPDATE:
Pretty interesting testimony today. Seems to be claiming it was the FBI undercover agent's idea to pay or "bribe" coaches. Sounds like an entrapment defense. If this is true, it is not a good look for the DOJ. They chose to get involved in the underworld of basketball recruiting and "create" a crime. Don't think this is the best use of law enforcement resources. Of course, don't think any of this is good use of law enforcement resources, as I still can't find the victim, the schools (who make millions), the NCAA (who makes millions) or the players (who generate those millions). The idea that the government/tax payers were the victims because these kids were ineligible to receive scholarships to schools that received federal funds is absurd because those scholarships were going to be filled by someone.
...enough of the soapbox. Cross exam is tomorrow, should be fun.

Miller is getting ripped. We better hope Dawkins skewers him and puts even more pressure on Miller. Seems that Wade wasn't nearly as cozy with Dawkins as Miller and Book.
The most likely outcome of all this is that the NCAA will just tell a few coaches to piss off and give them show causes. The more scrutiny on Miller the better. Arizona is a perfect fit for the program the NCAA likes to nail. Big enough to where they get a lot of attention but not any sort of blue blood that would hurt business.
