Bringing the oldest kid Wednesday for a three night stay for his bday. Wife has planned this whole thing. Reviews?

It’s Biloxi so my expectations are already very low...

It’s supposed to be very very kid friendly

We took the kids there during the day one weekend last year.
Seems nice enough, but I could see how it could be crazy crowded and chaotic

Game’room’ is great, pool is trashy fun...there’s a fast-arse go kart place close.

Try to find some interesting food in town.

Spent a few days there a couple of weeks ago with the wife (no pics) and kids (age 6-10). Pool (saltwater) had lifeguards everywhere, was great for the kids, and kept them entertained for hours each day. There are only two ways in/out which are "guarded" so kids can't get out if you're preoccupied at the bar. Valet parking is free and they will try to push you to the "express" check-in on the ground floor. If it has a line skip that and go to the 10th floor lobby to get in faster.

There is a swim up bar and walk up bar where you can order food at the pool. Enjoy the $8 beers and $12 mixed drinks.

The Margaritaville restaurant onsite is overpriced and mediocre food imo. Didn't eat at Doe's which is onsite too. The Blind Tiger is nearby, walk if you want, and was alright for lunch the day we got there. Also ate at The Reef, Sal & Mookie's (plenty of options for the whole family), and Snappers Seafood (on the beach).

Didn't go to the arcade there but went down the beach to Big Play Entertainment which is cheaper and has putt putt, small go-karts, arcade, and bumper cars.

Also, the day you check out they give you access to the pool until 4.

We've been three times for a weekend each.

Pool is very nice, there is a swimup bar that is open sometimes and a regular bar. Kids have a blast with waterslides, lazy river, and there is a small splash pad type area too.

Arcade has a bunch of games, along with a ropes course and a couple of other basic indoor rides. You buy a card and load it with credits. They have discount packages on the credits. Also, if the weather is real bad (which happens a fair amount) while the pool is closed they will offer further discounts on arcade credits.

The food and drinks are about what you would expect at this type of place - overpriced but decent quality. Lot of tropical drinks, of course.

Rooms are nice - I wouldn't waste the money on a balcony. But clean and well-kept rooms.

Take advantage of the free valet parking - otherwise the self parking is out in a lot.

Last time we were there, Fri night we ate at Shaggy's (not my fav but the kids love the place), Sat did breakfast at Waffle House (you may laugh but there's a nice new one in Biloxi that is elevated). Lunch we ate at the Margaritaville on-site. Sat dinner we went to the Beau Rivage buffet. Sunday we checked out, put bags in car, then drove to the IP buffet for brunch. Then drove back to resort, parked outside, and went back to the pool for a few hours, as you get pool access on the day you check out as well.

Also, don't lose the wristbands, it's pretty expensive to get new ones. We just leave them on all weekend. However, if you cut yours off at night, if you bring the cut one to front desk they will replace it for free.

As someone who grew up in the area, you really need to branch out on these food choices bruh.

In the past, we have done Sal and Mookie's, Slap Ya Mamma's, Woody's, Mugshots, Blind Tiger... what am I missing that's kid friendly?
