Any issues with any of these companies paying out?
Quotes from least to most for me:
Geico, Progressive, USAA (by a lot)

Anyone definitely wouldn’t go with any of these companies?

USAA ain’t gonna be the cheapest but their customer service is 100 times better than anything else in the market.

I’ve had Geico for three years and have used them for 2 windshield claims. No issues. They are by far the cheapest quality company out there.

USAA is non profit, you get a dividend rebate at the end of the year. Calculate that in, it's probably not much more expensive. And their customer service is the Chick Fil A of the the insurance business.

Geico, State Farm, Progressive are good.

All State is the worst. They always quote the highest price and their service sucks.

Whatever is cheapest.

You'll fight to get paid with a slimy adjuster regardless of company if you are unfortunate enough to have a claim.

When Geico pisses me off I switch to Progressive. When Progressive pisses me off I switch to Geico.

Just hope the claims are few and far between. Also carry a $1k deductible and if the cost to repair is anywhere near that just pay out of pocket.

Geico quoted me $2,500 initially on damage from a tornado, body shop told them it would be $8,200ish and they accepted the shop’s estimate without question.

Geico has been slowly creeping up my rates but it still isn’t expensive and I haven’t been able to get it quoted any lower elsewhere.

It’s very important to realize this when it comes to insurance companies:
Most people don’t understand how an insurance contract is supposed to work so when something comes up that doesn’t work out 100% in their favor, they immediately say they got screwed by the insurance company. 8/10 times they didn’t get screwed and they were treated very fairly and according to their policy wording.

If you qualify for usaa you should also be banking with them.

I would go by cheapest rate, all things considered. I don’t care about customer service in a once out of ten year event, if that.

It's two tier. They bend over backwards for the service member. Dependents riding their coattails, not so much. No problem with that, but people getting in under those conditions should be aware.

Every company uses an algorithm that looks at everything from zip code, to education level, to the type of car you drive. There is no "right" company for everyone. Sometimes the no-name company is cheapedt and has great service. Biggest doesn't mean best

USAA is hard to beat.

GEICO is solid as well.

You’ll pay more with USAA, however it’s worth it when you need them. I’ve dealt with Geico adjusters and they’re some sleaze bag, slimy MF’ers. They’ll try and use non OEM parts on your car if you’re not careful when reviewing a claim itemization.

I have had USAA for over 15 years and never had any problems.

It’s funny people saying USAA is more expensive. USAA is hundreds less for me across all y insurance products that GEICO, Progressive, etc. You must be in their shitty tier.
