Getting into betting on football

If someone was a tad bit interested in getting into waging a few bets what info would you share with them? I have a card guy weekly (honestly don't know much about them but seems straight forward). Should I bet online? What websites give tips or advice on what bets to take weekly etc.... any info is appreciated...

Just start small. I put 100 dollars in an account 13 years ago and I’m still gambling with it. It’s fun but you gotta be smart.

I’ve been using bookmaker.eu for about 15 years. No complaints. Even when the department of homeland security seized their webpage when it was bookmaker.com they still processed my pay out which has earned them my loyalty.

Would you prefer cash or bitcoin?
If you prefer cash, stick to a local bookie.
If you know how to use bitcoin, you can bet online. I use heritage sports. I like them. A lot of people use bovada and 5dimes also

1) Start small
2) Accept your losses, if you lose a bet don't immediately try to get it back.. you'll find your self betting on water polo
3) Always buy the extra .5, especially if you're taking something like a +7.5/3.5/10.5
Losing by the hook (.5) is so devastating. Good luck and happy betting!

If you value money, DON’T start betting. If you are rich or just value the action then fade (bet the opposite) of whatever you think will be winners for a couple of weeks. Results are usually better than your expected “winners”. Get ready for a lot of miserable Saturday nights hoping to make back your losses watching the Hawaii game!

those are for parlays only.
while you CAn make moeny with two team parlays (mainly NHL and MLB) parlays are for suckers.
use a sportsbook if you live in vegas or mississippi.
other than that use an online one like
bookmaker
bet online

takes alot of work and studying to understand how to make moeny sports wagering. I do NHL and MLB year round and have been doing great. had a 66 win% ATS last year with college football. I am 4-1 this year so far ATS.
there are lots of moeny managemnt techniques and systems. you need extreme discipline. Can you control your emotions and treat this like a business? Can you defeat human nature and tendencies? that is what it takes to be a successful bettor. it also takes brass balls to stay with systems plays. you also need to know when to cut losses. two pieces of advice
go buy a book called THE UNEMOTIONAL FOOTBALL BETTOR and search for tony stoffos money management book: 12 WAYS TO BEAT YOUR BOOKIE.
look it up on amazon or gamblers bookclub.

Don't bet your favorite team. If you ever do quit betting you will lose interest in football...at least compared to how interested you were when you were placing bets all day saturday

incorrect. he can bet it as long as it is a good play. The term you should have used is do not make emotional bets especially those on your favorite team. you need to take out all emotion period. see my posts above.

Find a bet you like then bet the exact opposite of that bet
