William Hill (maybe the biggest casino sports book worldwide) now has the FL game at LSU -13.

I suspect it will continue to do so and finish somewhere around -10

I think it'll drop as well, then some huge money will drop on LSU -11ish before game time.

everyone's hopped up about our new offense(me too, and rightfully so,) I would normally say we should tap the brakes because all we've done so far(except for TX,) is have a few dress rehearsals and now we get into the big boy part of the schedule, but after watching the UF-AU game I think we're going to curb stomp these assholes too, I didn't see much from either team, particularly qb play

I think LSU wins but 13 is a lot of points to a good team. Wouldn’t touch it.

Yeah, I thought that the whole time I was watching.

Florida has an elite defense and a pretty putrid offense with mediocre at best QB play. They're going to slow our offense down from what we've been seeing, but we'll still get 30+ pts. No way they match that at night in Death Valley.

Florida managed to score 24 against Auburn who has the best front 7 in the country. auburn totally dominated except for the 2 big plays, but Florida always seems to manage to do this.

Our Oline is improving week to week, Sadiq and Big Ed are back - hell, Nix had time to throw the ball with their Oline, he just couldn't throw in that atmosphere.

Florida will be tough. I still think we win by 2 scores but it will be a tough, hard fought game.

I can't wait to see how our offense handles a "real" defense. we'll definitely know what we've got after this game.

Me too. LSU has been a confusing team the last couple of weeks.

In my wildest imagination I never thought this team would surrender 38 points to Vandy, nor could I believe they would only give up 6 to a good Utah State team and win by 36 (in an unfavorable start time and uniform choice in incredible heat)!

I am not as impressed with Florida, either defensively or offensively, as ESPN or the national media. And the game conditions, uniform and start time seem to favor LSU. But football is a crazy thing. Who would have believed the Colts would go into Arrowhead and dominate Kansas City, with a RUSHING attack?

For all these reasons, Florida covers.

At home with a hostile crowd backing them and Auburn had 4 turnovers that helped quite a bit. It wasn't a sustained drive type of thing either, like you said, it was some big plays.

ETA:

31-17 LSU. Trask gets picked off twice.

I saw Nix had about 10-15 opportunities for big plays if he could throw the ball worth a shite.

Fun fact: going into the UF/AUB game, both QBs had a sub 10 QBR against pressure. Both teams dialed up pressure, and we saw that neither QB could handle it.

On the other hand, Burrow has shined against pressure. I'm not sure how UF will slow LSU's offense down.

He definitely missed some big opportunities. So did Tennessee. Not a good pattern because Burrow doesn't likely miss those throws.

well 4 turn overs helped

and one really bad angle on the 2nd play of the game

14 points on huge big plays

other than that, they didn't do much

If the defense comes out and plays like they did against Utah state, we should win rather easy.....,.

What does this have anything to do with it?

I think the real question is who would have believed that the Colts defense would keep Mahomes and Co in check?

I realize that Mahomes was playing hurt for most of the game, but it's interesting that you found the Colts ability to run the ball vs. a not so great Chiefs defense more unbelievable than the Chiefs offense only putting up 13 points at home.
