Should I pick up Jaylen Samuels?

Both of my starting running backs are on bye this week. Standard league. Currently have Jamaal Williams and Mark Walton starting. Would you drop either of those guys for Samuels?

Samuels is probably the starting RB for the Steelers this week, absolutely. I’d drop Walton

My bench is Wentz, Kupp, Fitzgerald, Gurley, Kamara, Latavius Murray

Who's your starting QB? Wentz has a BYE then NE coming up. You can drop and likely pick him back up before long.
I'm not necessarily big on those guys, but you said it's a standard league. So they have value.

Samuels will be be a top 10 rb this week if Connor is out. It is a no brainer.

Yea drop Fitz if you have the option, Walton otherwise. I just don’t see you using Walton in the future if you won’t use him this week

I’ve never been in a league where this is the case as long as the player was on your bench(only starters are locked).

How wasn't he already picked up?? He was the #1 option in most leagues this week for WW pickups

They are locked if you play on ESPN.

3. Try to package Samuel and a WR to the Connor owner for a WR bump. He has M Thomas,A Cooper and Lockett?
Right now I'm leaning trade but if Connor misses any serious time Samuel could be a nice RB2 fill

If you can’t make a trade, I would drop Goedert to play Samuels. You have Hooper so you should be good at TE. Either way Samuels needs to be in your lineup this week. I actually like your WR better than your RB. Cook and Samuels are your best RB plays this week.
