Tim Couch vs Peyton Manning was epic. I think both QB’s combined for 1,100 yards in that game.

Bowl games didn't count in the stats back then.

Burrow will break the record but his record will be in 15 games v 11.

Let's see where Burrow is in 11 games after Arkansas.

Burrow will break the SEC record for passing yards and touchdowns and do it all with like 5 interceptions.

I'm thinking he sits early in at least one of those games.

384 yards/game would certainly be doable. Unfortunately, Miles Brennan will be playing a few of those quarters.

More than yardage, I’d like to see his completion percentage get back to the 80% mark. That’s a cool stat.

Ole Miss is 14th in the SEC in pass defense and 111th in NCAA. Single game rushing record is against OM, maybe Burrow can take down Rohan's 593.

Arkansas - 8 and

A&M - 5. However you know LSU is going to absolutely take A&M to the woodshed after last year. I'm hoping we score the same amount we did last year but in regulation.

Orgeron will do everything he can to make this happen that record is coming to Baton Rouge...I will call it now he averages 450 pass yds to end the regular season...Orgeron wants the Heisman for Joe as much as the Natty!!! RTWFU!!!!!

I didn't even know Couch had the record. He must have thrown the ball 50 times a game, because he never had a season close to what Burrow is having.

I know he was the #1 pick, but that was more about "measureables" than him actually being awesome, as I remember it.

No quarterback in college football, that I've ever seen, has put up as many yards and touchdowns, with as high a completion percentage as Burrow, and certainly not against the competition he has faced this year.

He deserves every record. Not Tim freaking Couch.

I’m hoping they let Joe break the single game passing yards record (528) vs A&M so that’s half of it right there
