we have many wr's that have had high interest in lsu, but no commits. do you all think we are waiting to see what happens with randle since he doesnt like our depth at wr. or is the reason most of our prospects want to decide later on. also why does appleton not have an offer?

Every player we are looking at it highly ranked and most want to enjoy the recruiting process, therefore, they are taking a little longer to commit.

I think Randal has the scholly whenever he wants to commit, but he will take all his trips and commit on signing day or close to it. I also think the fact that we had Peterson, Tolliver, Benton and Molton in the last class may be a reason we weren't targeting a WR this class. (granted, Benton didn't qualify)

That would be my guess.

me too. i would be happy with just randle if that is what it took to get him here. we are not hurting at wr, but we seem to put one to two a year in the draft, so there is no telling what we will need in the future. i would really like to see more help in the secondary

i'd be thrilled with only Randle. LSU will be set at WR for years between TT and last years class and Randle. Not to mention Shepherd and Mike Ford and Pratt and maybe Lache or Dywer. Add to that Miles bringing in huge OL and turning them over to Moffit and Stud for two or three years before they're needed. Scoring points will not be a problem.

I'd be happy with Randle, but I have to admit I haven't really followed Bell too much. I think with Tolliver and Randle, that is a deadly combination in three years. Not to mention Chris Tolliver who looks really good.

Peterson yes, Molton I think is still a wait and see. Peterson will be the surprising Bowe like stud from last years class...Book it!

Because we are in serious running for several of the top WRs in the country and we will not accept a commit from a WR right now that is not one of the top WRs that we want the most.

We are slow-playing some very good WRs and 1 or more will get an offer after we get a better idea where the big boys are going.

Is there any new word on Molton yet. I though I saw on the Rant that Motlon was doing well in practice.

Wasn't there another WR who did not qualify, from one of the past 2 classes I think?

J.Taylor was a question mark. He's a solid slot receiver, and may be better in the slot than Bell or Wooten.

what's the word on Benton?? Last I heard he's a no go on qualifying... if so that sucks balls cause he could make an immediate impact IMO
