The former director of diversity retention at Liberty University, who quit to protest what he considers President Jerry L. Falwell Jr.'s racist and oppressive leadership, has created an "LUnderground railroad" to raise money for employees of color who want to leave but can't afford to.
LeeQuan McLaurin wrote on the online campaign page that the goal is to provide $2,000 to at least 15 former Liberty employees to cover a month of basic expenses — "a month where they can focus their efforts on searching for a workplace that will provide a safe, supportive environment where they can thrive" as people of color "and leave behind a toxic, unhealthy workplace that never did."

I’ve never heard of a “diversity director” who ever did anything positive. At best they were a propaganda minister while at worst they actively stirred racial shite up.

The Falwell family is an embarrassment to Christianity.
This is the same university that tossed out the entire membership of dcTalk for "rules violations" -- but when they became a popular Christian band, now claims them as their own.

So... .the instances of racism listed in the article are the Falwell tweet that was meant to show how racist Northam is and a "micro-aggression" where someone wearing dreadlocks was told not to do so because they look unprofessional?

Wouldn't hurt my feelings. Being there during the '04 election and hearing the "Bush is a war criminal" nonstop (from plenty of professors and students alike) for six months was enough to ensure I never donated a dime after graduating. Colleges and Universities, by and large, are run so piss poor it's not even a joke... although that should not be a surprise when they have 800 administrators and all of them are communists with no business experience.

May have been done to keep Federal money coming in.
At this point they need to start operating like Hillsdale College -- no Federal funds from ANY source. Then they can do what they want.
