Redecorating Stepkids Bedrooms

What is the OT’’s advice for instigating a redecorating of the stepkid’s bedrooms after they’ve been out of the house for at least 5 years? I’m getting tired of looking at their high school BS and adolescent type crap. I know she loves her kids but it’s time to move past them being 18!!!!

If they are on the college 6 year plan I’d be patient as they will probably get a psych degree and come back to live with you while they work at starbucks

My sisters (his daughters) claimed mine and my brother’s (not his sons) rooms upstairs pretty quickly after we flew the coop. Mom repurposed everything pretty quick once all the kids were gone as guest rooms but there’s still photos, trophies, etc. of my sisters in each. Most of my leftbehinds are stuffed in my old closet. Got to dig around while quarantined there after my daughter was born. I’ll sell you a car amp the size of a pizza and a Sega Genesis on the cheap.
