WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump is "furious" at the "underwhelming" crowd at his rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Saturday evening, a major disappointment for what was expected to be a raucous return to the campaign trail after a three-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to multiple people close to the White House.

Furious?

I can see him being disappointed.

I can't see him being furious.

But furious sounds better.

ETA: I think trump could be furious at some other aspects.

The fact that the protesters were able to impede people getting into the arena.

The fact that protesters intimidated many people and families coming to the rally.

I think the protesters were not handled correctly.

So next time look for a much more structured approach with more arrests of the protesters.

For some reason people don't understand protests are allowed, but they are not allowed anywhere.

They are only allowed at the allowed locations. Outside of that and you can be arrested. People are stupid and think if you are peaceful you can protest wherever you want.

This just simply isn't true. Peaceful protesters cannot protest on private property. Peaceful protest cannot block or impede traffic unless the roads were closed for them.

Peaceful protesters cannot protest lots of places. I think next time the peaceful protesters will be reminded of such.

If you have seen the video of him coming off of the plane after the rally, you could tell he was pissed off. Talk about low energy. Gave a horrible salute too...

Maybe he should stop letting Fauci punk him or continue to lionize George Floyd

It never fails. One source or a couple people said simply won't do, so it's multiple sources. Clown show.

I think close to the White House is probably meant as a distance and not in terms of in the know. Then the real question is what the the definition of close by liberal media.

your title, crown size?

quote:

While the Trump re-election effort boasted it would fill the BOK Center that seats more than 19,000 people, only 6,200 supporters ultimately filled the general admission sections of the enclosed arena, the Tulsa fire marshal told NBC News.
This lie taints the entire article; that stadium was full cameras showed it when Pence and others were up.

Oh wait, even more BS

quote:

There are growing concerns among Trump campaign officials that neither the president nor the 2020 team have a coherent message for why he should serve a second term. Saturday evening's meandering, nearly two-hour rally speech is the latest evidence of a lack of a targeted strategy to attack Biden with less than five months to go until the general election.
Oh look more stuff to try to make the article not look like the complete hack job it is.
quote:

Many issues could have contributed to the poor attendance in Tulsa: a fear of contracting the virus, concern over potential protests and torrential thunderstorms in 95-degree heat. But outside advisers see the visuals of empty seats overshadowing Trump’s remarks as a significant problem for a president and campaign that are both obsessed with optics.
quote:

Much of the blame is falling to campaign manager Brad Parscale, who in the days leading up the event aggressively touted the number of registrations, but those close to him stress his job is safe, for now.
Full proof the article is BS. The 'fire Brad' mantra before the rally even started... is because they want him gone because he announced a brand new GOTV app.

Said it many times that shutting down the economy may end up costing him the re-election. The left took advantage of it and will continue to push to take advantage of it into November.

I was thinking the same thing. I think their definition of close is someone who lives anywhere within the US borders.

He should be his campaign manager made the entire campaign look ridiculous.

Parscale blames AOc and the tik tok people

Earlier today he shifted blame to the media for fears of Covid and protestors.

He needs to take a hike and Corey needs to take over.
