If you've ever worked with china, they are not like Americans when it comes to contracts. They will spend the money but it will be slam full of hooks in the contract. They will have a team dedicated to managing every specific aspect of that contract and will enforce every demerge available to them. They are pretty good at getting what they want.

You want access to the Chinese market, you play ball. AT&T owns XiNN and has a partnership with China Mobile, so they spew propaganda and don't keep reporters who tell the truth.

hell, the remake "red Dawn" was supposed to be a Chinese invasion, but was later changed to NK invasion out of "fear" Hollywood couldn't sell the movie in the Chinese market place....
