While paying for my food passing through the popeyes in Baker,La the dude at the counter commented on my LSU mastercard. He said he wanted to play at LSU but ended up at Miss St. I said who are you, a big smile came to his face I'm Orlando Lundy and I beat LSU every year but one when I played. Nice to see Moo St players being productive after their college years

That's awful. I shouldn't be laughing at that.

I think it was in the early 8o's when we had a string of bad luck against Miss St.

That's a good point.Any job to support his family is better than no job with gov. support.

i still remember going to the game when he beat us in 84. he was filling in for the normal starter (i don't believe it was bond..think he had already graduated.)
we were still able to sneak into the sugar bowl though.
that was either the day before or the day after flutie's hail mary.

Good old Bogalusa boy - his favorite receiver in high school was Roggie McGee who had a decent career with the Tigers.

I bet Ramsey Dardar would trade places with Mr Lundy.

I remember Orlando Lundy. He was a stud QB at Bogalusa in the early 80s.

There is nothing "sad" about a grown man having a responsible job.
OL was a good player, fo sho.

If you were in Baker, LA......... then you weren't being very productive either

Eating at Popeyes in Baker. Doesn't say much about yourself. Classy.

There was a period where Miss State just broke our hearts even when the Tigers were the clearly superior team. John Bond ... Orlando Lundy ...
But 3 SEC and 2 national titles later, I have to say that those days now seem very long ago. Where's that dancin' nanner? There it is:
