Did the crime? Do the time. Or pay the fine.

If it's your first time, a lot of parishes will send you a card that details how to get it removed.

Damn that’s not good
They make take away your license for that

See if they have pre-trial intervention. Usually an online class that you pay $150 or so for. Then it stays off your record.

Go to court and plead the fifth

Where did you get the ticket? That makes a difference.

Go to court and slip the judge one of those handshakes to make it go away

Location would probably be relevant in answering this question.

Don’t use the word “fixed”. That is a bad word to use in handling a ticket.
Most DA’s let you pay the fine and cost and don’t report it. Article 892 is what you ask for.

Tell the judge to stick the ticket straight up his/her f*cking a$$.
The judge will let you off because all judges love honesty and they rarely hear it in their courts.

Slow the frick down before you kill someone.

What the frick is up with these new users coming in asking how to skirt the law? The other day there was some douche asking where to go get an inspection sticker with illegal tint

Do you know a government official in the area the ticket was cited? If not, you're not getting it fixed. Ultimately, it's all about the revenue generated from tickets. As long as you're willing to pay the total fine, the DA's office will reduce the charge to a non-moving violation if you call and request it.

You really hit the ground running, huh? I mean hauling arse!

just call and ask politely if you can pay the fine and not have it go on your record. if it's your first offense in that parish, they'll usually do it.
ETA: idk though, 78 in a 55 is pretty fast lmao
