Just did this after 7 years of playing. Actually shot a 94 (chipping was awful) but still a milestone day for me and left the course happy.

Anyone else have a great sense of achievement after doing this? It’s probably old hat for some of you.

I am a high handicap so it is always a goal for me. Just good sign score is legit.

If I hit a good shot and just can't find don't let it destroy me

Congratulations- I think I’ve lost 1 or 2. I don’t recall ever not loosing 1 - maybe I’ve gotten to number 16 etc and chipped one in the creek lol

This varies highly on the course. I don’t loose a lot of balls at my home course (probably half the rounds I play with the same ball), but the “woods” are manicured pine straw and balls stick out like a sore thumb. There are only 2 forced water carries on the course.

There is another goat ranch course around me that you’re going to go through several balls I don’t care how good you are. Basically any missed fairway you need to hit a provisional because there is a good chance you’re not finding it.

I did it after playing Ross Bridge.

Hit the ball the best I ever have and shot a damn 103.

I spent about an hour at the range before teeing off. I did not practice putting...

Those greens were nasty. 2-3 putted every single hole. Had I played like that at our local course, would have shot high 80’s, low 90’s

LaTour. Can’t stand it when I lose a ball when a foot off the fairway.

Did it yesterday but was lucky. Par four with water over the green I bladed a sandwedge out of the green front trap skipped over the water and landed on the other side. Chipped on, two putted for dbl. Shot 43-38 81.

I'll go one weekend playing both days with the same ball. Then the next Saturday I'll lose 6 on the same course. Golf is a stupid game.

There’s a pond on my home course (#12 at LE Triomphe) that has more of my golf balls than all the other ponds combined.

One of my best achievements in golf, though, was playing four rounds in Ireland with the same ball last year. Some good golf and a lot of luck.

Aint that the truth. One of the holes on my regular course has a narrow fairway. For whatever reason, I can't make the smart decision to pull out an iron to save my life. Just gotta go for it with the driver. I can hit the fairway about 70% of the time and lose the ball in the water the other 30%. Every time I land in the water, I almost always shank the recovery shot into the water also.

I've played a handful of rounds without losing a ball but nobody is immune to that stupid errant shot.

I actually played my last two rounds at TPC Avondale with the same ball. I am keeping my tee ball in play.. that is the big thing.

I actually played at TPC Sawgrass this summer and had the same ball for the hole round. 17 of the 18 holes have water on them. But there are only a few forced carries.

Again, I kept my tee ball in play. My score wasn't great. The fun begins when hitting the ball into those greens.
