Currently streaming on Netflix. Re-watched this last night; such a good movie! Great performances by Woody Harrelson and Courtney Love, although Courtney was pretty much just playing herself. Anyway, highly recommend this awesome 90s flick.
I, LOL'd when Charles Keating said in response to winning a court case against Larry, "we are in a battle for the soul of America! Channeling his inner Biden.

It's a great movie about one of the smarmiest people.

I started drinking campari solely because of this movie and their ad making fun of Jerry Falwell's "first time"

"Smarmy" is not the right word. Scummy, sure. The guy didn't care who he offended, and he wasn't trying to please anyone.
The line that always stuck with me from that movie concerned him ending his addiction. He told the girlfriend something like, "I was taking them because I was in pain. I'm not in pain anymore so I don't want them." Too bad that can't work for everyone, or even more than a few.

You're right. Scummy works. Or sleezy, skanky and skeevy, take your pick. Larry is a vile person.

18yo me brought a date to that movie having no clue who Larry Flint was. We simply chose the movie because the romcom (One Fine Day) was filled...

i got a lap dance from one of the hookers from the hot tub scene. She worked in Paducah Kentucky as a stripper

Started to watch, Love is however unwatchable. She's more vile than the subject matter.
Flynt did a great service for Americans. He's the most repugnant patriot in history.

Hated Larry Flynt but I guarantee he would be on the front lines fighting this statist Chinese Flu trampling of our rights.

It's a classic. One of the best of a great decade for movies.

The SCOTUS scenes were the best part of the movie. Getting the real Justices to appear in the film like Scalia and the humor of the case was so authe tic feeling.
