I started this on the Home/Garden board but I'm in kind of a hurry so I'm posting here as I know a lot of guys hunt in N. La. Having to move to Shreveport. Would like to find an apartment East of 49 and South of 20. Don't need all the amenities just in a safe neighborhood and clean. TIA!!! Also, if anyone knows of a good hunting club in the area looking for members, let me know. Only shoot mature deer.

There are several nice gated complexes off Clyde Fant Parkway. Sorry. I don’t remember any names

I had a temporary work housing apartment north of Shreveport just south of the Benton area. Really more north of Bossier. It was a nice place. Called Kingston Crossing. That’s the best I got. Not really the area you’re looking for. I’m not sure there is anything in central Shreveport.

Canebrake, Champion Lake, River Walk. All nice, gated, clean and close/easy access to everything.

Riverwalk apartments is one. For the most part riff raff free, clean, good maintenance people etc. They do have quite a bit of amenities so may be more frills than you want to pay for, but I didn't have many complaints while living there.

Island park apartments are nice. And they back up to an oxbow that may or may not be slap full of giant sacaulait.

Born and raised in Shreveport. Still in the area. Best advice you can get is cross the river. Go north or south or east of Bossier and you won't regret it. You can get to Shreveport and do anything you need to if you have to even go there in thirty minutes or less then GTFO.
